Waterfall 1 is the first in a series. This 3/8" thick standing sculpture is made of local recycled window glass. The shape was cut then textured and formed in the kiln on Tahoe sands and fiber - it was then placed back into the kiln and bent into a flowing curve. The colors are a combination of glass enamels and oxides.
The hand worked stand was created by Mountain Forge of Truckee.
Measuring 17" high by 15" wide the piece tapers to 5" at the base. The curve lifts the top edge 3".
